Has anyone else cancelled Sky HD channels?
Have you noticed that since then you can't view Anytime TV as they are all HD channels?
I have complained about this as I think they are in breach of contract,in their adverts they do not say you have to have HD channels to receive Anytime TV programmes.
E mailed Jeremy Harrochs, customer services advisor just rang me. Said I could have Anytime tv for 6 months free of charge as I am not happy, also said ' It is way the HD box functions', I queried this as I used to be able to watch Anytime tv before subscribing to HD channels as they were not all HD channel programmes.
I find the whole thing very misleading and still they are in breach of my contract with them.

Then you will see it in SD, and hopefully you wont be paying for a (wasted) HD subscription.
Just checked and not all, but the vast majority of channels are HD on anytime0 -
My sky HD box is the same.
Pretty much all the anytime channels are on HD.
I have to check my standard sky box to see if that mainly gives HD programmes or not. Not at home at the moment.0 -
I'm not terribly techie so I may have misunderstood.
However I have Sky anytime, I do not have any HD subscriptions and can watch anything I record without problems. Obviously though I am not recordign anything from a HD channel as I don't get them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. What you record and Sky Anytime are two different things.
I suspect if you have Sky HD your anytime will be full of mostly HD programmes whereas if you are only on SD it will have SD shows .0 -
It isn't if you have a HD or a SD subscription that is important it is the type of box that you have.
I have just moved and they gave me a new box, which was HD, I didn't take the HD package but she said they only give HD boxes out now. When it was connected I looked at the Anytime and as has been said before it is almost all either on HD or pay channels.
I have not used it once.If you find you are drinking too much give this number a call. 0845 769 75550
