faulty bath can I get a refund / exchange?

Hi any advice would be a great help, End of Jan my partner & me bought a new bath from our local Plumbase store, we had a look over it and all looked fine so we stuck it in the spare room and shut the door. Earlier this eve we removed the rest of the carboard around the side and there's a great big crack in the side! we did check it the day we got it but obviously not close enough, we are so fed up as luck isn't being very kind to us at the mo......1st thing tomorrow my partner will take it back but i am so worried they will say it's our fault and we didn't check it properly (which to be fair is true) but this bath cost £230 and it's useless! what do I do?
