It might not be an error.
OP, how is your friend registered at uni? If she is still attending, albeit part time hours, she may still be classed as a full time student. Has she been attending since September?Gone ... or have I?0 -
no they finished in june then resits are to be handed in by june this month, but she must attend 2.5 hours, she does not get any student loans ect... he only income she would have is her esa which they have stopped..0

She still needs to check her status with the uni. It is possible that she is going to have an overpayment of ESA for the whole academic year.Gone ... or have I?0 -
From when has she been claiming ESA?
What is her status at university - is she listed as a FT/PT/Resit/Interruption...?
Is she paying fees?0 -
no she is not still classed as a student, I called her... she is going back onnly to finish this part of the module x it will only take 2.5 hrs a week, they uni is going to write her a letter to confrim that but according to her they have said that she is still classed a full time student and wont be paying her anymore... i personally cant see how thewy can do that.. so was hoping for advice as to what she can do xx0
