oh my goodness this is me! I was convinced I had bowl cancer, crohns etc etc... turns out I am more likely to have gallstones as diagnosed by an actual doctor. Although on a good note, without the internet telling me not to ignor it, I would have probably just lived with the pain! now for looking at what 'complications' a gallbladder can have :rotfl:If you aim for the moon if you miss at least you will land among the stars!0

If I had not used the internet, I would never have found out what was wrong with me and would probably have just accepted that I had CFS, given up work etc. Instead I found out that I had (among other things) vitamin B12 and iron deficiencies, which have been easily treated. After 6 years I am well on the way to recovering my health and I owe it all to the internet and two sites in particular full of other people who have been badly let down by the NHS.
However, I agree that you have to be a bit careful which sites you look at - there are some oddities out there.
