When can I get credit again

Options
I have recently paid off my debts due to an inheritance and am now completely debt free.

I want to remortgage the house and get an extension or even a loan to do it.

I just want to know when I can start to get credit again.

Before I paid them off I missed payments and got into arrears with all of them. I received lots of default notices beforehand.

How will my credit be affected by the default notices and when will I have a good credit score again?

Thanks

You need to check your credit report,
If there are defaults on there, they will be their for 6 years.
It will be very difficult for yu to remortgage but not impossible.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Unless you actually have to re-mortgage why not just settle into a debt free lifestyle for a while. See how your budgeting goes, save some pennies.

If you jump back into the lions den you may find yourself struggling again. Enjoy being debt free.
