pre-payment meter help!
Im on a pre-payment meter for both gas and electricity with southern electricity. I have spoken to my landlord and he has given me permission to switch to monthly direct debits.
Unfortunatly southern electric want to charge me £52 per meter to disconect them! :eek:
Any advice on getting this change for free???

Best to ask them as I was in the same position as you but I didn't actually have to change in the end. I simply told my supplier (NPower) that British Gas would do it free and they said they'd do the same. It might be worth seeing if SE will do the same.0
