Do not let him inIf you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0
-
oiriginal fine £105 - OK
bailiffs fee £75 - not sure about this
attndence £200 - this is probably wrong
and £150 if car removed - not sure he can remove BF's car.
Herbie21 posts here sometimes but she runs this website which list bailiff rules:

If you send her a PM, she may respond here for free. Also pm hallowitch. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
From my limited experience in these things I'd say you absolutely must NOT let him in. If nothing else this buys you time to work out how to deal with it.0

I am no expert but please DO NOT LET HIM IN. He hasn't got the right to take your partner's car, I am sure I am right on this one? Hopefully someone with more knowledge will come along soon.Debt Bust LBM 01/01/2013 - [STRIKE]£11,115.28[/STRIKE] £10,593.81

DO NOT LET HIM IN!!
Once you let him in you have less leverage over them.
If its raining and he wants to come in - let him get wet.
If its cold and he wants to come in - let him freeze.
If he returns do not open the door and talk to him through the letterbox. Do not leave any downstairs windows/doors open.
But as you can see the recurring theme here is DO NOT LET HIM IN!!LBM & Debt July 2010 [STRIKE]£19,000[/STRIKE] now - £11,619.60 Long Haul Supporter #247

He sounds like he's talking utter cack to try and scare you into letting him in.
DO NOT LET THIS MAN INTO YOUR HOUSE
If you can't face saying no to him then go and sit upstairs / away from a window and sit it out. Do not answer the door to him if it's too much for you.
Please don't let him in.
The situation isn't going to get worse by sending him away but it certainly could do if he gets in your house.
Try not to panic. By not answering you're giving yourself time to get some proper information and advice as to how to deal with this.
Don't answer the door. Go out if you need too / sit away from the doors and windows, just don't answer the door.

I'm not 100% sure, but I would not let him in, it's your house, your assets, not your daughters as she is only lodging with you! I would see what your daughter can reasonably afford to pay per week, and give him that offer when he comes back, I don't see how he can threaten to take you or you partners possesions for a debt that isn't yours!Sealed Pot Challenge member 1315

If the car is not hers, then the baliff cannot take it in payment of her debt.
Your possesions are not hers, so he cannot take them - but don't let him in anyway.
I would, however, tell your daughter to get off her backside and sort out the problem so you don't have to deal with this. She needs to contact the court or the baliffs and arrange a payment plan within the scope of her benefits - she has to pay the fine and some fees, as Herbie's sheet will indicate.
Good luckSome days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....
