Theatre Breaks in London

Has anyone recently booked a show and hotel break in London. Just wondering if £192 for 2 nights in Travelodge Kings Cross and Circle tickets for the show is a reasonable deal? The stay includes English breakfast and twin room.
Are there any sites that you have previous experience of?

I think that the answer depends on a) what show b) how many tickets and c) what nights of the week.
There are better (and worse) Travelodges in London than the Kings Cross one - make sure it's not the 'Kings Cross Royal Scot' though. Saturday night rates are usually considerably more expensive.
Depending on the dates / show and how many are going, you may well be able to put a cheaper / nicer package together yourself - for example by making use of the ICG (Holiday Inn) 'two nights for the price of one' link, or the Travelodge sale, and also the 'great days out' 2-4-1 on show tickets for some shows.
Also, presumably the break price doesn't include travel between the hotel and theatre ?0 -
Also note that most Travelodges (including the Kings Cross, I think) don't actually have 'twin' rooms - what you are likely to be given is a 'family room' consisting of a double bed and a sofa bed.0

Beware, the Kings Cross Royal Scot travelodge does have twins. This is not such a good travelodge!0

The price was for 2 tickets excluding travel. Have found another Travelodge at Covent Garden which would appear around the same price bracket.
Thanks for the details0 -
Covent Gdn travelodge does have twins.
Which show is it?0 -
There is a £10 Travelodge sale starting this Thursday 6am and it may be worth looking to see if there any London TLs for the dates you want. Waterloo and Southwark are near a lot of attractions such as the Eye, Imperial war Musuem, Embankment for Houses of Parliament, Ben ben, river boats to the Tower etc. Both TLl are also fairly new ones so not the older ones that need a refub. The area has good train, tube, boat and bus transport links too. Covent Garden is also very good for theatre shows but gets booked up quickly.
Depending on the show sometimes you can get good deals on Ticketmaster and Lastminute.com. You can check out seating reviews on www.theatre monkey.com
Kings Cross has been cleaned up a good bit in recent years and the high crime rate brought down, but you could probably get a better area and better TL for the same price. Reviews for the Kings Cross TL here;-
