furious - pixifoto £5 portrait @ boots

today we took chops and my nephews (3 of them) to our local boots for the £5 photo session as they are moving to yorkshire next week. today was the only day we could get them all together for the pic and the last day for the offer in this particular boots.
so we turn up at 11.45am only to be told by the photographer that she wasnt taking any more pictures after 12 as she was going to lunch and to return at 2pm.
2 hours lunch!
there was only one photographer. surely if you are offering such a promotion there should be others to cover breaks and stuff.
so we return at 1.45 and join the queue. about 5 families infront of us. she comes back from lunch at 2.30pm and tells us she can only photograph the first family in the queue as it will take her 2 hours to do so and that we have to leave as after that she will be taking no more and leaving.

no sorry or anything. her attitude was outrageous.
i pointed out to her that she informed us to return at 2 which we did only for her to decide she couldnt do us afterall. also pointed out that if pixi foto are offering a service and advertising such a service then they should stick to their promises and not make false ones.
she turned her back on me and walked away.
we were not the only disgruntled people there.
i asked her name and she said 'they [pixifoto] know my name', i told her i dont care if they do or not because i was asking for it. she refused to give it. got it anyway off another disgruntled parent. everytime a parent/grandparent/carer asked her anything or tried to make a complaint she merely turned her back and walked away.
i am absolutely fuming at her attitude and the way things were run. 2 hours for lunch and then half hour late back from that. advertising for something that was not, in our opinion, available.
i intend to complain and complain untill i get a free session for chops at least. a wasted day on something pixifoto offered but cannot complete.
so who do i complain to? anyone got any ideas? and any nudges on how to word my complaint.

No idea who t complain to but you could start with the Boots branch manager who might be able to point you in the right direction. But be warned Boots will probaby disclaim all responsibility as Pixifoto are not actually asnwerable to Boots:rolleyes:
Must admit my experience of them was less than satisfactory, although we did eventually get the said £5 photo plus bought 2 others of the 6 that she had taken : of the remaing 3 one had my hand in the shot, one was blurred & one Spud was bright red & having a poo! And she was 1 1/2 hours late arriving then took the rest of the morning to set up then went for lunch then eventually saw us & spent over an hour taking the 6 photos! Oh, and she was French & harldy spoke a word of English & I had to convey my requriements to her in my long forgotton GCSE French!:mad:

marvellous! youve saved me a job. havent complained yet as is the weekend so doubt any organ grinders are there and dont wish to speak to any monkeys.
will call boots as well. i wanted to have a word with the manager in the boots store on sat but my sister said it was nowt to do with them. she literally dragged me away kicking and screaming.

Our family must have been really lucky with them, in the 10 years we've used them, they have been great, considering they have so many people to get through, and most either have only the £5 or free (with vouchers) photo.
It was only our first photo with them we actually bought a few others, other than the free one, as they did have a good offer on and it was our first child, and her first professional photo.
Now we just have the free / £5 photo, though in the past have paid £2 / £2.50 / £4. Then I scan them in onto my PC, and send them off for copies / enlargements etc.
I would however complain, as their company needs to know which areas they have problems in, they aren't going to want to have someone using their company name, if they aren't interested in doing their job.It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... pixi foto have emailed me back saying theyve put something in the post to me for a complimentary sitting! if you dont ask you dont get and i put in my complaint that i think they should make a goodwill gesture!There's someone in my head, but it's not me0
