Would anyone have any idea how long a simple insurance claim is suppossed to take before its resolved. Is there a time limit or can they take as long as they want??? I have phoned them and they said they will be in touch when they know whats happening. Its only a simple accidental damage claim for a TV but seems to be taking a while, I don't want to go and buy a replacement yet as I'm NOT sure how the claims process works.
Thanks

all depends. some companies are very quick, others less so.
claims under 600 quid ish should be quick as the decision is made over the phone. no one calls to see/inspect the damage.
have your checked your excess?
eg.
if the TV is 500 quid and your excess is 250 quid, theres hardly much point in claiming.Get some gorm.0
