Forgive me if this should be in the credit card forum.
I have a visa with a £30k credit limit (I only ever use £1k to £2k per month and pay in full).
I have no debts except mortgage which is at Base + 0.5% so although I have the cash to pay off I have kept this as I can get better return from the savings rates I have.
If I ask to have the card limit lowered does this improve my credit score or will me having less credit available work the other way.
Thanks in advance.
