JSA Payment had just been paid into my account

Hello all,
I've just checked my bank account and have been paid £60.50 JSA. Which is weird as I've not made a claim and am in full time employment.
I've phoned the nice people at the DWP and apparently the payment is from a claim that was made last Wednesday. They are going to call me back and will hopefully just take the money back and cancel the claim, but I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else or whether I need to take steps to make sure I can't be nailed to the wall for a false claim!
Thanks in advance

I'd say it's probably that a mistake was made re bank account details. Either the claimant made a mistake when putting down their details or an officer at the DWP did when getting the payments set up. All it takes is for a couple of digits to be the wrong way round.
It's very unlikely that the DWP would take action against you for a false/fraudulent claim as this is for people who have claimed and witheld information or given false information, etc. Your situation is you haven't made a claim, you have noticed a payment has been made to you in error and have informed the DWP about it so there's no fraud there.0 -
Thanks for the reply.
I've just phnoed them back (as I'd heard nothing) and was told that the money is from a claim that I made in January 2009 and is mine!
I await there next phonecall, which should have an explination, with some excitement
