Combining Home Phone, Internet and Mobile

Hello,

I am looking into changing my broadband package - paying £17.99 at the moment, which is way too much having looked in this forum!

I am also getting a bit fed up with paying about £12.50 a month just for BT line rental, when my phone calls are about a fifth of this.

My partner and I are also looking to change our mobile phone accounts - I am currently with O2 (been on this for many years) and she is on pay as you go.

Is it worth (or indeed possible) to buy a single package that deals with all these?

Maybe it does exist, but is cheaper to keep everything the same?

So what I am looking for ideally, is a single mobile phone account with two users, cheaper broadband and a phone package that includes all phone calls and cheaper line rental.

Can anyone possibly advice me on my possible options?

With regards to line rental, I appreciate that there is possibly no way having to pay BT's rates on this - I remember that Tiscali (when they existed) promised free line rental and unlimited calls when you upgraded your broadband package with them - a great idea but I signed up and my account was never upgraded (this was probably because they knew that they were about to be taken over by Talk Talk).

Thanks very much.

  • Hi Elsmandino,

Orange do a full package with mobile, internet and line plus calls.

I pay £10 p.m for mobile (100 mins, 500 txts and 500mg data). I pay £15p.m. for broadband, line rental and all calls on a second line. (except 0845s etc). They do a deal with all calls. I am an old customer and have pressed for discounts every time it comes up to the end of contract. It's worth checking other mobile companies also.

First step would be to find out what broadband is available to you

    Hi all,

I've just got confused by an advisor. Basically i'm switching from o2 (20.50) to orange BB (15£). Tried to go through quidco calling which is £70 cash back. Order BB and was told to order sim only and top up once every 6 months to get discount making it £10 per month.
Next thing i know, the sim chap says i can get the discount with a dongle order and no need for sim top. So he states, he will cancel my initial order. Place a new order for BB and dongle, i will keep my quidco cashback plus they will give me £30 cheque for waiting on the phone for 30min. My maths tells me.
    Original cost 180 - 70 (+40) = 150£ for 18months (40 = topup money)
    now 180 - 70 - 30 = 80 for 18months = 4.44/month
I took his offer and got his details. Potentially too good to be true?
