Bipolar Type 2 and DLA

Hello
I have recently been diagnosed as having bipolar type 2 after the birth of my little girl. Obviously with that i have incurred debts whilst in my manic episode that have amounted to £10000. I am a part time key worker and have a 2 year old child. I am unable to work full time because i find it too much for my mental health and i simply cant afford the child care costs. Is there any help out there for bipolar type 2 suffers with bad debt? I have a good credit rating at the moment and i dont want this to be affected but i am barley making the minimum payments. Also am i entitled to any form of DLA. I realise these times are hard for everyone and things will change but if im entitled to extra help because of my disability i would like to know about it.
many thanks

Dla maybe payable if you have care or mobility or both needs the diagnosis is secondary to them 20

MIND would be a good organisation to speak to about the debts accrued during your manic episode.0
