Hi,
I am trying to find out how to transfer a saved recording on my V+ box, preferably to my laptop.
So far the only thing I can find is transferring to dvd, via dvd recorder which I don't have. If this is the only way (or least complicated) so be it.
Thanks

Hi.
Unfortunatly you can just transfer the video file off the V+ you need to use the copy function that you described.
I use this http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/aver-media-avm003-03858172-pdt.html plugged into the the scart output of the V+ box to copy them on to my computer.
All copying is done in real time so it can take a while, but if done correctly through the copy option on the V+ you can still watch and record other programs while you do so.0
