Baumatic cooker symbols

Hi,
I moved into a house with a baumatic cooker - gas hob electric oven. The grill still works but the cooker doesn't seem to. The lights come on and the fan but it doesn't heat up. I don't have an instruction manual for it and there seems to be no model name or number anywaher on it. I wondered if anyone knew what some of the symbols meant so I can make sure I'm not doing anything wrong before I get someone round to fix it.
Amongst the ones I can work out for myself (like the grill symbol and the fan which seems to make the oven work sometimes) there are the following:
these are on the dial and so can only have on of these at once.
snowflake with drips
lightbulb - i know this one seems obvious but why would you want a light if there ws nothing else going on.
then there are buttons:
a hand
box with heat waves coming out of it
box with above with a big cross through it
then i have the alarm button - timer i presume
and - and + buttons for setting etc.
I'm not the most practical person and working appliances out isn't something easy for me - what I'm saying is forgive me if I'm just being thick.

This is a complete guess BTW
The hand would suggest Automatic / Manual mode.
possibly in automatic you can turn on and off via timers.
The lightbulb - sometimes you do need the light on when cleaning or when food has been left in the oven just to keep warm.
Does the oven have a microwave built in
snowflakes with drips - sounds like a DEFROST option
box with heat waves coming out of it Microwave or main oven
box with above with a big cross through it Microwave off or main oven off0 -
Hi there
I have similar oven so i thought i'd just post on here.
Anyway the problem with mine is that it just won't come on even though the time display is on. It cannot be the power because the time display is on and I have checked the fuse and that's all good.
It's not on automatic (well the AUTO flashing sign isn't on). It's on manual.
any help please! many thanks! I don't really want to call out a repairer and pay huge labour/time costs if it's only a simple thing! last time it wasn't working the british gas man charged 50GBP call out and he only changed the fuse
thanks again!
