Cheap ideas for Hen Party in London....

Hi Guys,
Hope you can help me with some ideas - I'm trying to organise a Hen party for my best friend this July.
We're planning in staying in London for 2 nights near Piccadilly Circus, as there's a backpacker hostel there that's fairly cheap to rent out the whole room.
They'll probably be about 6-7 of us, and a mixture of gay guys and ladies. Everyone is quite hard up at the moment, so I wondered whether you had any ideas for activities/entertaining games/surprises/places you could recommend bearing in mind tight purse strings?! I'm open to ideas!
Thanks!!

You could do a partial monopoly pub crawl, going around the tube stations and going to a pub for each stop. Depends how much alcohol you want to consume!
If you wanted something more cultural during the day the main museums are free...The west end theatres often have spare tickets that they release on the day of performances if you turn up at the theatre directly. You'd have to check on their website first of course but good deals can be had. Might be worth signing up to groupon as well to see if they are offering anything you'd like.
Be more helpful if you could tell us what you're interested in doing?

Double check you are allowed a mixture of girls and boys in the hostel room.
In terms of activities, it depends on what you are in to.0 -
Hi Emma,
I know that on the 2nd and 3rd July there are concerts in Hyde Park - (the O2 wireless festival) and they start in the afternoon until late evening. Its quite expensive to get tickets for these so not good for the pursestrings but Hyde Park is massive (the concert only uses a portion of it) and lots of people take picnics and drinks and sit on the boudaries of the concert and enjoy the atmosphere that way. Might be a way to spend the afternoon and as its a park a lot more freedon for games and surprises.

My hen night in 1999 was here
Loved it - such a sociable time to chat. we were in there about 2.5 hours. Plus lots of local pubs to go to after at a more reasonable price than central london.
Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?
