Rapidshare vs Hotfile?

Which one should I go for?

I'm currently using rapidshare, but it's become more expensive than hotfile and it seems to be getting harder and harder to find good links.
On the other hand I heard that hotfile doesn't let you use the full bandwidth at times...

I actually use it more for downloads. I have other solutions for storing stuff online

Ask whoever is uploading to use other sites then (if possible)

    Take a look at http://jdownloader.org/

For many sites you won't need a premium account at all unless you are in a hurry. It will not handle Hotfile captchas but can cope with some others.

Hotfile maxes out at not much more than 3MB/s on premium.

By good links do you mean links to copyrighted music, films and software?

Rapidshare is most common one I see. Megaupload is better imo, but for some reason it isn't as popular on the sites I use.

It amazes me how many thieving barstewards there are on this board. Maybe I should compile a list of user names and forward it onto FAST and BSA...

There has to come a point where the digital thieves that use Rapidshare find themselves facing the '''music''' chuckle chuckle - digital economy act anyone? :-)

... Mind you, without the illegal music and software down-loaders, stealing banking details from compromised computers may be wayyyyy more difficult :-)

    Hammyman's lovely reply aside..;)

I use all 3....(Rapid, Hotfile and Fileserve)...not much to choose. Of late fileserve is good.

OR many will use newsgroups...giganews etc for very fast and reliable dodgy and non dodgy downloads:beer:

Hotfile are being sued at the moment & are mass deleting accounts that they suspect may have illigal content hosted on them.
