Vanilla – I really wish there was something I could do or say to help – I want to go and beat up a few bullies and teachers for your daughter! It must be awful having to watch your DD go through this. Massive hugs xxx
Jjef – congratulations on getting on to the teaching course! Time to celebrate! Xx
Shysarah - hope your first day back goes ok.

I've baked a banana loaf and some chocolate chip cupcakes. Also made a shepherd's pie for dinner, a big portion of which DS has already decluttered.

I've also done a washing load, walked the dogs and s/s the kitchen. Oh yes, I'm also shredding all the letters I was sent when I was at university (I left in 1991 so why have I still got them:o):rotfl:

    Hugs to you all xx

I am feeling a bit over excited. Kinda half sick and half scared and half excited about work tomorrow. It has been a full 10 months since I was in the office so its quite scary. It seems to be showing itself in a bit of a hyper mood with an undercurrent of fear. IBS has kicked in as well which is probably why I am feeling so physically sick.

I know deep down it will be ok.

I guess now I just need to sit back and take it one step at a time.
I think I will watch some tv and crochet and try to relax now.

    xx
Big squishy hugs and lots of positive vibes.

Usually the time before anything is worse than on the day when you are actually doing it - at least it always is for me.
So once you start tomorrow you will be fine.

  • Count me in for this weeks flying (I know I'm a bit of a late starter, but better late than never) I just can't seem to get going this week so maybe actually joining in rather than just reading everyone else's notes will kick me up the butt!!!!!!

Vanilla - You are doing the right thing, explore every avenue and leave no stone unturned.

Shysarah - Lots of good luck for a good day tomorrow, I'm sure your butterflies will disappear once you get there.

PenPen Hope you and DD have a lovely time.

Master bed is being changed daily as DH is still very poorly. He was off work again today but is going to Arsenal tonight to watch the replay against Leyton Orient. He has a meeting in Ilford tomorrow and has a day off on Friday to prepare for the party.

Need to get an early tea as they are off in 40 mins.... better get going

We have just about finished our nightmare few days at work, just a couple of hours tomorrow morning and we will be done.

Planning on only doing Level 1 tasks this week, not only because I have been busy at work but because I have picked up an injury today and am not sure I will be able to do any more. I pulled a muscle on one side just below my waist today and it is hindering me somewhat, I am hoping it will have eased by tomorrow when I come to flying. I will be doing upstairs level 1s on one day and downstairs on the other with the weekend off.

Scrub out the sink and polish the taps
Run appliances through a clean cycle.. clean filters, drawers and doorseals first!
    Level Three
Wipe over the oven and hob and fridge
Clean out the freezer.. defrost if necessary but just emptied and sorted otherwise.. scrub those door seals!
    Extras
    1. Scrub tiles
    2. dust and deweb!
    3. Wash small appliances and replace
    4. wipe the fluffy tops of appliances!
Tuesday ~ Living room and hallway
    Level One
    Declutter and vacuum floors
    plump pillows and fluff throws
    Check smoke alarms!!!!

Polish glass and metals and mantel

    1. Wash windows
    2. Wipe doors and skirtings

  • Not much flying today I'm afraid :( My cat is very poorly and it was touch and go for him this morning, but the vet thinks he will pull through now so just thinking positively :) Now I have a bit of hope I am cracking on with the housework instead of wandering around in a bit of a daze. Hoovered all of top floor, middle floor and rugs on bottom floor but not done stairs as I did then the other day and they are still fine. Need to do a quick tidy of kitchen / family room but this is not bad as I keep in top of it anyway and then I will need to change the sheets in the master room and I think that will be enough flying for the day.

Hope everyone else is doing well x

Vanilla - I agree with everyone elses comments......I had a lump in my throat reading about what your daughter is having to put up with. It is shocking that the teachers are being so remiss and I think you have been amazing to be so patient with them...I definitely wouldn't have been :o
ShySarah - good luck with work tomorrow x

Can't think of anything else at the moment, sorry if I missed anyone x

Shysarah - good luck for tomorrow.

Have been to my friend's mums funeral this afternoon - it was a lovely service.

DD2 stressing about photography coursework again! And she's planning on not dropping it next year.....(more desperate to drop Sociology or English!)

So has anyone any ideas on how what we could photograph for a title 'Evidence of human presence?'

She has ruled out spillages/party debris as mates are already doing them....
    :jFlylady and proud of it:j
