Did quite well in my 11.30 HHC, stopped for lunch and then mum popped over and I did her feet. She is diabetic and has had a fair few feet ops so I trimmed her nails, gave her a massage and popped on some pretty pink polish. She has just toddled off most happy. I promised to do then yesterday but fell asleep so they are done now.

Have also lit the fire and fetched in coal. Mum is going to book us both in with the chimney sweep so that is struck off the list too.

Next I shall remake the bed and then do a good dusting in the LR, all the drilling yesterday fitting a vent and cleaning out the fireplace leaves it a bit dirty to say the least.

Washing is in the dryer now too. (No wind here so no outside drying poss :()

    All going ok-ish.
Anxiety about tomorrow is there but not too high yet as am keeping myself occupied. :o

    HHC at 2pm anyone?

OH has just been home for lunch, so I'm going to finnish my coffee and then start S&S living room as whilst trying to exersice I noticed that the carpet could do with the hoover being run over it.

Just about finished the flying for today. Upstairs spring clean is almost done and I was going to do a list for downstairs but feel demotivated and need a break from it. LR, HSL and family room all really need decorating and HSL tbh looks no different for all my paintwork washing as it is so chipped and discoloured.

Cake made so I'll ice that after the school run and then settle down to HHP before sorting dinner. List for the rest of the week:

    Bathroom
family room - dust after sorting paperwork
try to do a bit in the garden tomorrow
    mop kitchen floor again
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

greenbee is your ex single now, or back with er indoors? And how is his mental health?
Separated but living in the same house (in one room, downstairs... basically he's got a bedsit). Mental health not great... and he's worried that its having an impact on his work.

    My clients are idiots...

Woo thats the flying done for today.

My poor sister just called. She took her pushchair back to toys*us as it was not folding properly. They looked at it and the bent spring on the handle.. then told her she had been folding it wrong for the last six months hence the bent spring. Poor luv was ever so embarrassed. Maybe she will start reading manuals now.

I am feeling a bit over excited. Kinda half sick and half scared and half excited about work tomorrow. It has been a full 10 months since I was in the office so its quite scary. It seems to be showing itself in a bit of a hyper mood with an undercurrent of fear. IBS has kicked in as well which is probably why I am feeling so physically sick.

I know deep down it will be ok. I am meeting with my occupation health nurse who is lovely, tomorrow at 9.30 and then she will walk round with me to the office and I can have a sit down with my new manager (who I know and like). I have been told tomorrow and friday are just dipping toe in water days really and am only doing 4 hours. I have an appointment with my counsellor in her home on Saturday morning just to see how it has all gone and talk over any concerns away from the work environment. I have the occy health nurse if I need some support during the working day and everything. I also have my book of 'rules' I can say no to overtime etc etc and will use the rest of the book as a diary for feelings, thoughts and issues for the first few months.

I dont think there is a lot more I can do to be prepared. I know what I am going to wear. I have some snacks to take and drinks for break time. Man has told me I can call him anytime if I need anything as have my family.
I guess now I just need to sit back and take it one step at a time.

I could study now but I am not sure I am in the right frame of mind. I think I will watch some tv and crochet and try to relax now.

Hot bath later on so that will help me relax too.

    xx
