Anyone ever seen someone sitting on a bus clicking one of these all the time?

I have no idea what they're doing :eek: but have seen two people doing this in the past month

    They didn't seem to be in any official capacity and were clicking away pretty much constantly

    They look like step counters to measure how manysteps you have walked.

    That would be my guess as well, they use them on Ryanair flights to count the passengers.

    Not sure why they don't just count the few empty seats and subtract from the total.??:D

    Because different planes have different numbers of seats so mistakes could easily be made.

    Probably the exact opposite ! Someone from local or national Government seeing if the number of passengers justifies the subsidy being pumped into that route.
