Evening All!
Thanks for all your kind comments about me making it back from Taiwan - assuming that I don't get fed anything too odd (i won't tell you some of the stuff I've seen or been asked to try over there) I will be fine.... hopfully I won't turn the lights off and glow green a-la Peckham Spring styleee (for all you Only Fools and Horses fans) :rotfl: seriously, we wouldn't be going if it looked to be seriously dangerous, and I'll be logging on to keep tabs on my NSD buddies so will keep you posted xx
Take care xxPS...can you tell I am feeling a bit better today...thanks for all the kind wishesCar went in to garage today for pre MOT check so hoping that's not going to cost me an arm and a leg. Fingers crossed for me please folks! The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Hello Gang.
Pleased to say I've got my dozen with no 12 today, & tomorrow will be a spendy cuz people will insist on eating
Got to wait at least three weeks to get muvva's results but I'm hoping I'll be able to get a bit more time at home. Apparently I only have two faults, namely everything I say & everything I do, as she likes to point out at any & all opportunity& definitely shows promise of a full recovery
I think that's something to do with mothers and daughters, BMF, mine was exactly the same when she was well. Ill and it was a different story:doh:The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

I'm back from my birthday celebrations. My DH took me to River Cottage Headquarters for dinner on the Saturday. Spent a 3 days in the lovely village of Axminister in Devon. It was great as I used to go to Axminister when I was child, so it brought back memories. Went for seaside walks and a few pints in the local pubs. The food at River Cottage was fantastic and was a great experience. Had a great time and then went home to see the folks which was lovely too. So here is a cake, everyone grab a slice.
xx
Glad you had a lovely time, Rock_Cakes, it sounds brilliant:T:T.Champagne and cake for everyone to help you celebrate again:D:D:D

Nargle and Spoon - count me in for Paddy McGinty's Goat , that and Delaney's Donkey. I'm sure I can remember the words too. Of course, I blame being force fed Val Doonican on a Saturday night in my formative years! Sounds like we're all " of the same era!"Evening All!
No NSD for me, had to get a few bits n bobs for the trip, and also got snared by Clinque's Bonus time at B**ts, got two of the items I want to start using and a gorgeous bonus time tin with some useable goodies. I know their stuff is expensive but I do really think I've noticed a diff in my skin since using their moistureiser that I got free with Glamour.
Right - sorry for the long post. Hugs to everyone who's down at the mo xx
Kerri, you are verrrrrrrrrrrry naughty giving the heads up re the bonus time - I may have to check that out:oHad a real dilemma day. Had been really good and stuck to the NSD all day only to get an email to say tickets for one of my fav comedians have gone on sale tonight. Figured if I wait till tomorrow they may be sold out, so darn it all it's worth a spendy day. But now the website is down! Can't spend it even when I want to!! :rotfl:

As one who has just gone through the MOT prayers with our Saab, I'm sending you positive vibes!

Good morning all!
No NSD for me to report. I ended up going to BMF's " favourite" Blue & yellow emporium with my M&D to help them look for tables. I cannot bear that shop but sometimes its a necessary evil. Maybe it's just me, but I find the layout very stressful! You can never just get straight to where you want to be/ look at!
However I did get a nice plant pot to finish off the bathroom and a vase for the lounge and didnt spend too much!
Today is NOT an NSD either. I have paid our hols yay, yay and thrice yay! I also need to go grocery shopping.
Tonight we are off to see my sis in her annual AmDram show. OH moans his head off about going( he's not a musical fan) but I just ignore him and he ends up enjoying it in the end:rotfl:
Have a lovely day everyone:)

Well, on the upside, yesterday was NSD #8 after all. On the downside, this was because the website didn't come back up yesterday. Have horrrible feeling this means I won't get tickets.
Will keep trying today tho and focus on the fact I did clock up a NSD despite my sinful thoughts
Thanks Spoony and Jinty for the good vibes for my car.Official DFW nerd 187 :T Highest debt Oct 06 £23,319 _pale_ Cleared end 09. :T

Good morning everyone! :wave:marmiterulesok wrote: »Wow,that's really impressive! How do you manage nine in a row?
I've been too busy with work this month, so haven't had any time to spend; however, I have managed to stay disciplined and still take lunch to work. :money:butdoineedit? wrote: »:j:j chris81418 – well done for number 15, hope your cupboards are full now?
Yes thank you BDINI! A top-up food shop was completed yesterday, so no NSD for me - but at least I have food now! :rotfl:
