    NSD No 3 please.

  • :T:T and another one...!

    That's NSD #5 :D

Am feeling very virtuous as popped into shops to collect bits for my mum, but still managed to resist temptations and came away without buying anything other her list. :) The knowledge that I'd be half way to target if I made today a NSD kept me on the straight and narrow :D

 Little Miss to the urine sample.

Hopefully Little miss they have given you some granule things to put in Iggy's litter tray and then suck the pee up with the pippette...that's what I had to do when I had such delights...otherwise I'm not sure how you get a kitty to pee in a wee jar

    And hello to:

kerri gt – go on I’ll let you buy the mags & count it as an NSD, after all I need to save you from the soggy paintbrush!! :rotfl:

solventsoon – 6 is great, I think you’re safe from the paintbrush for a while yet!! :rotfl:

Evening all, not long back from pole class (ouchy ouch!) and just booked OH flights to Scotland for the cup final (Jints you know which one I'm referring to ;)) he left it rather late to decide to go but luckily it turns out I had enough air miles through some of my travels with work to donate some to him, so his flight has actually come in under his budget - aren't I good wifey? :p

Well, the good news is that I have at last managed to collect all the Clinique samples I wanted - had to stop on the way to class tonight for the moisture surge one which was proving elusive. I'm not going to be greedy and start buying others or doubles though (not like the person who posted about buying 27 copies of Glamour - which I just think is rather greedy and not in the spirit of MSE ) I also now have 4 copies of Glamour...but have offered the spares on Freecycle.

BDINI, even though you said (as grand overseer of the NSD Challenge this month - and a jolly good job you're doing too) I could count the mags as a NSD if I got any today, it just doesn't feel right, so I'm counting today as a spend - I feel if I start making 'excuses' in my rules now, I'll carry on. So Spoony - you're safe from that soggy paintbrush tonight...tomorrow might be a diff matter though as I'm hopping back on the NSD wagon all being well :o

  • Hi all :j
I've been mad busy at work, on my laptop into the evenings too, so not much time to come here to update... but on the plus side, I haven't had time to spend any money either :rotfl:

Just trying to catch up on posts (with names this time;))...

KerryGT - I got the palm tree tip off t'internet after a bit of googling & kept getting the same answer off various gardening forums. Someone had asked what type of wax to use & they said "any" - I think it's just to seal the cut.
Those Group0n deals are very tempting - I've only recently discovered the site so not yet bought anything. I'm hoping for a good deal on haircuts as I can justify that!;) Enjoy your meal:beer:

suzie wong - I know what you mean about the petrol - I do about 250 miles a week on average. I swapped my 6 yr old Picasso for a brand new C1 a couple of years ago - the saving in fuel, tax, insurance & all those repair costs was enough to pay for the monthly finance cost! It is a little diesel & does nearly 90mpg so I can get nearly 2 weeks of travel from a tank of petrol (which costs about £40) - probably could get better efficiency (ie the 90mpg) but I'm a bit heavy on the pedals!!:o

Little Miss Happy - so glad to hear about your cat coming home:D

Beanie, elfen & others not feeling great - hope you all feel better soon (((hugs)))

    Rock cakes Happy birthday!!:bdaycake:
Jinty I had the same problem with $cottish Power but they refused to lower it so I cancelled my DD and set up a SO for the amount I thought I should be paying! Its probably a little more expensive this way (can't remember if there is a discount for paying by dd) but it makes me feel better that the ba$tards can't rule my cashflow!

Going back to my last couple of posts, I seem to have miscounted my NSDs and missed one:o, that means I am now up to
    NSD # 7 / 15 and last week I had a run of 5 NSDs in a row :T
It was a spend day today but only to pay for my Dad's birthday present & I didn't buy anything else.

When I had my last spendy day on Monday, I went to £shop to buy a couple of choccy bar multipacks to make sure I had enough treats to keep me satisfied during the week - and only £2 spent, whereas I would have been tempted into the shops to buy some (and other stuff spotted)!

    :hello:

    Hi all NSDers xx
Coming in to report that I got to number 5 yesterday :j. Was too tired to come in yesterday and have a hell of a week next week with two double shifts :(, probably am working too hard at the minute but there will be no overtime from next month so am really trying to pay off what I can from the credit cards so I won't struggle to much after that. next month will be the first time I haven't had any overtime since the paycut last year so am dreading it really:(, mind you it will be nice to get proper rest days :). I also have some time off the week after so am going to try to use that constructively an dhopefully not spend anything as well.

Won't be an NSD today as I'm off to get the local paper as Thursdays is jobs day so you never know LOL, so will maybe get petrol too so I don't lose a day tomorrow.

Well done all on the NSDs clocking up :T

    Back soon

    :hello:

    Hi Kathy
((((((hugs)))))) you're having a tough time atm. I don't blame you for grabbing all the overtime you can while it's around but please try to take some time to rest as well otherwise you'll make yourself ill.

    Take care

Hello all, another good day for NSD's.
Sorry to anyone who gets missed because this update is so early, i've had one of those days at work & a row with the electrician who i'm sure is overcharging me, so i'm heading to bed to sulk!! :(
Normal service will be resumed tomorrow!!

Oh dear, sorry you've had a carp day, BDINI:(. Try wielding your sledgehammer while the electrician's around, that might make him reduce his costs a bit. Hope things get sorted at work soon, any news yet on when you can hand your notice in?
    Take care x

solventsoon – 6 is great, I think you’re safe from the paintbrush for a while yet!! :rotfl:

    Ahh... thanks:D:D

Right, better get my bum in gear then for tomorrow, kerri, no more excuses permissible I think or the paintbrush will be heading my way for definite.
No 7 on the way for tomorrow then:D. Good luck for you for tomorrow x

and PS: BDINI you're doing a fabby job, think I might have to take a holiday a bit more often:D:D:D
