  • Am I too late to join in for March Slowlyfading? Have been MIA since somewhere in 2010 but need to pull my socks up. I've been quite shocked at how much money I've spent so far this year and need to regroup, as it were.

I'd love to get 10 NSDs in this month, starting with today!

    Good morning all!

As predicted, yesterday was NOT an NSD. Got my order delivered from A$da - quite chuffed as I booked the cheaper 8hr (12-8)delivery and they arrived at 12 on the dot, so I saved £3.50 there;)
Also the carpet fitter came early too as he was in the area, so I didnt have to hang about all afternoon. The carpet is lovely BTW, really cheers up my hall and stairs.
On the down side, my Mum is not well. After such a lovely day on Thurs, she has been struck down with gastroenteritis - a really nasty bout, so we got the doc to come out. I cant go anywhere near her :( as I am on two types of immune suppressant drugs so if I pick up a bug it wouldnt be good news for me.
She is meant to be doing a lot at her Guild coffee morning today, so Dad and I are standing in for her:eek:

Busy day ahead folks, plus I can see myself indulging in the purchase of a bit if home baking today;)

    Have a great day everyone:)

Good morning all from me - I seem to be naturally waking up at 6.30am these days. Still full of cold and I have 1500 words left to write on my assignment due in tomorrow evening

Planning a NSD day today as I have everything in I need and I don't feel like going out anywhere apart from dragging myself around with the dog that is.

I'm planning on reading writing today and aiming to write most of the 1500 words due, might do some baking too but I can't taste that much either! Deffo having a comfort food tea and an early night!

What are you studying? I too am going to work on my 1500 A215 OU essay - but mine is due on Thursday so hoping to get it done sooner... hope you feel better soon - nothing like trying to study with a head full of cold and flu!

I have not cut my hair since November and while it is in good condition as I do very little to it, I know it could do with a bit of a trim! So - today will be a spend for me but I a, declaring yesterday as a NSD... that brings my total to 3 NSD's
Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!

Morning *checks watch* yes it is morning still....

welcome back PostivelyPurple - you're not alone in a spendy 2011 so far (I have a lovely new brace of kippers from Spoony and BDINI is after me with the wallpaper brush too!) but we'll all help you get back on the MSE wagon.

Sorry to hear that peeps are still feeling unwell, I had a bad throat yesterday and it's still lingering today (seems to be the first place of attack since I had really bad tonsilitis when I was at school) and all in all feeling a bit snuffly today, not good as we have a wedding reception to go to this evening - I would much rather curl up on the sofa and have a really lazy day but can't miss this.

Sorry to hear about your mum Jints - hope she is feeling better soon, and well done to you and Dad to stepping in for her - I think that deserves a bit of home baking as a treat.

Right, better get on - shower to have, nails to do and need to go into town and get some throat lozenges to get me through the day. Still, was never gonna be a NSD with the wedding...and on the upside, get to wear my new frock tonight!
