I've also tried making the large cupcake cake this afternoon. Did a 4 egg mix (225g each SR flour, caster sugar and margarine), but I don't think they were enough as it doesn't actually look large enough to be a special birthday cake (but the bottom and top do match up once trimmed flat, so not sure whether to try a 5 or 6 egg mix next time - there was loads of headroom in the 'tins', so don't think a 6 egg mix would overflow)
Wow, thats a big cake!! I was so tempted by one of those cake moulds but the thought of how much cake i would have to eat has made me think about reconsidering!!February NSD challenge 5/150 -
Hic! Either CW has put something dodgy in the daffodil tea or there have been too many people getting NSDs today - well, you have to celebrate each one so that's a round of drinks times about 25 I think....hic!
Spoon, how on earth are you going to tell that dragon's mummy that Igor made him into a pate? I think, when you do give her the bad news, you had better keep the Tardis engine running.....
No, Kerri, you are not drunk, that really was a dragon in a pink ballet tutu - I think he was the cabaret act Spoon booked for us.....One life - your life - live it!0 -
Bdini, nice of you to drop in - now sort that donkey out! he's making a mess of Spoon's paint job on the Tardis! One life - your life - live it!0
