My #1 nsd today. Great start but need to buy some presents tomorrow - got a kids party every weekend for the next 4 weeks :eek:Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend...

As 20 NSD's seem to be my standard, I will stick to 20 but I think I may like to try to increase my NSD in a row to 9!
20 NSD's - 9 in a rowfor me please!:D:D
Well lets see - I dip in and out of MSE all the time but I still come back - have done since 2007!!!

Evening all! Hello to all the regulars joining up again and welcome to all the newbies - good to have you on board - special thanks to BDINI for running the thread this month too xxx
Well, today was spendy for me but...before BDINI chases me with the wallpaper and pasting brush...they were all essentials....
Had to send a parcel in the PO (eBay but a return not a sale sadly...yes...ONE of the dress..but less said about that saga the better :silenced:). So that was £4-odd.
Then popped to get me brows done before the wedding at the weekend (and our outing tonight - didn't want to be mistake with Igor ) £5, popped into MnS to get a wedding card, but had 64p on a gift card so it was only £1.34 (and they have started a nifty little collection card scheme where if you buy 6 cards you get one free, and actually I don't think their cards are badly priced in there compared to some other places). Also got kitchen roll (x4) in Mr W, 97p. Lastly I popped into B**ts, desparatly needed a new felt-tip eyeliner as the nib on mine has had it, got a Collection 2000 one for £2.99 so thought I'd give it a whirl. I also had £10 L'Oreal vouchers that expire this month - I don't like much of their stuff but did invest in a new blusher....seriously, mine is YEARS old and prob has more bacteria on than a petri dish . That was about £7, but when the woman put my voucher through it took £10 off the whole balance, so I got eye liner and blusher for 64p :j:j
Tomorrow won't be a NSD as I need to send another parcel but I WILL be back on the NSD wagon after that.... promise...no...BDINI...put the sledgehammer down....:eek::eek:Feb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

Good evening one and all, your roving reporter Nargleblast here, checking in from the Welsh valleys - I travelled by flying bat earlier this afternoon, and the crowds are already gathering at the foot of Mount Snowdon waiting for the arrival of the NSD gang in the Tardis, as ever piloted by the stalwart Mistress Spoon. Rumour has it she was up till 3 this morning with pots of red and green paint decorating the Tardis in the colours of the Welsh flag. Rumour also has it, though be it unsubstantiated at present, that the iconic flashing blue light has been replaced for this outing by a giant flashing yellow daffodil.
Today, as if we didn't know, from all the daffodils and leeks flying around, is the feast day of St David, and our team of reporters are on hand to receive your posts if you should by chance have clocked up 1st March as your first NSD of the month. Be warned, though, that every time someone checks in announcing today as a NSD, the members on the outing will automatically celebrate your achievement by getting in another round of drinks. Igor as ever is hovering between the camp kitchen (the one he usually sets up when he tags along on our outings) and the camp cocktail bar - you don't get camper than Igor, but he is a rubbish cook and a bit of an iffy barman.
So we wait, searching the sky for the plastic flashing yellow daffodil that will herald the arrival of Spoon and co for tonight's rave-up.One life - your life - live it!0 -

You're right, Nargle, the Tardis has been modified for our celebration tonight, red and green stripes on the outside, red and green carpet inside. Giant flashing leek on the top:D and bunches of daffs inside - and very fetching indeed it looks.
Just revving up the engines now, be there in a couple of minutes together with whoever I pick up along the wayThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

Got that, Spoon - and there's a round of drinks set up ready to celebrate Dee cb's first NSD of the month. Don't like the look of the leek and daffodil soup, though, think Igor's put too much chilli in it, there's flames leaping out of the cauldron (sorry, saucepan). One life - your life - live it!0

Got a couple of vats of leek soup in the Tardis, Nargle, can't cope with any more of Igor's culinary expertise after the last bash.
Setting off now, the leek is flashing nicely on top... oh and I'm bringing a couple of dragons as well, found them in the back, no idea how long they've been there but they're fairly fresh:DThe time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time

I'm arriving by Welsh dragon - red of course!
I've made a daffodil pie and have lava bread so I'm on my way!
Made it #1 today! Well chuffed!
