Public Liability Insurance

Hi all.
Can anyone recommend a company that will give a discharged BR public liability insurance?
And why is it so difficult, do these companies that refuse BRs assume we are going to make a fraudulent claim as if we are corrupt thieves or something? I bet there's more non-bankrupts that have made fraudulent claims that bankrupts have!
Thank you in advance.

Bear in mind that if there was a public liability claim somebody else would be the beneficiary not you as PL insurance covers loss/damage/injury to others.
Best going to a broker on this one.
And your probably right there will be more non-bankruptcy people making claims since as a % of people who are bankrupt v non bankrupt there will be far more non bankrupt people!!!!0 -
Hi Gregd.
You make a valid point. However, maybe they think us BRs will get a mate to claim and split it right down the middle 70/30 Lol!
PLI is not a legal compulsory it's just reassuring to have. Getting nowhere fast at the moment.
Thanks for your reply.
