I dont think they can check them when you put them in the machine at Alton Towers. Maybe theyre just checking websites like eBay for tickets for sale.

I doubt that they can check, after all when ever i go all i take is my bank card and money in a small coin purse in a small rucksack that has my dinner in. I dont take my handbag or anything so wouldnt be able to prove my address. It does not say on the tickets that you will be asked to prove address or anything. All i would do would be make sure you know the address they were originally sent to in case asked.

Also do not buy tickets off ebay that show the actual tickets if you can make out the barcode as last year alton towers apparently cancelled any that they could read the barcode on.
