AHA! You know, and i know this is old news, but we tried to apply for the sainsburys card (we are in the process of fleecing as many card companies as poss thru the max out the cards and putting the cash in ISA etc) and i was denied despite me having what i thought was a good rating. Of course they wouldn't tell me why they denied me....NOW i know....we had just moved debt from a Halifax one card and only cancelled it a few weeks before!! i think it's time lenders/card administrators were alot more transparent about who runs the card, otherwise people might start getting paranoid about their credit rating?!

All the best.0 -
I got myself one of these and am building up a debt to move when the 0% runs out, in the mean time my unspent wages are earning me a little interest 5% in an "e" savings account
Good card to build up a debt to start stoozing, even if it is a bit long winded.
Oh and dont forget the 25p per £100 cashback too :-P

Managed to get one of these cards last year and have run over £5000 through the card in the 12 months (slow stoozing) - the cashback arrived on the statement this month - £18.78. A good job I hadn't taken that into the equation when taking out the card as that is a pitiful "incentive" (but better than nowt
).

Hi there guys before i apple for this card, i just wanted to know if it has a daily spending limit??
I wish to purchase a laptop with it.
Also when does the interest free on purchases start? Is it from the date you recieve the card or when you make a purchase?
Are there any catches with this card?0 -
Londonguy, phone them to check when the 0% starts - I assumed it would be when I phoned to activate the card, but it's not - it's when they roll it off the press and issue it to you, which could be several days prior to you getting it. So unless you nail them down on a date, you could end up getting caught out.Life is not a dress rehearsal.0

Also how long does it usually on average take between applying, being accepted and recieving the card?0
