    Hi Bonnington

Glad to hear you are feeling bit better. It is probably stress and your body is reacting to all thats going on in your mind. I hope you have a chance to sit down tonight and relax yourself.

I have been in the garden all week, soaking most of the time but very enjoyable. Need to get a move on to get youngest to school and tidy this place a bit before all arrive home for weekend.

    take care of yourself.

Mr B , does the builders merchants not deliver for free ? Get them to drop the mortar in next time they're passing .
Glad youre finding some time to chill out, its all needed.

I agree with you, the weekends are too short. I am sure its annoying to have to drive the 60 miles trip to get the mortar. Try and not beat yourself up about it.

I'm inclined to feel 'how stupid am I, why can't I be more organised'when I do things like this.

Weather very mild so we have no excuse not to get things done. My joints are killing me after the mega gardening I did last week. Need to do some cleaning and list ebay items asap.

    Take care bonnington.

In the case of our house, it was rendered to stop damp coming through.. So we were told by the old guy who did it.

Ours too. Every house in our village has been harled apart from our neighbours on the south side - their house has been in her family for generations and they never got it done. Every single year he's up a ladder trying to work out where the rain's getting through this time!
