Pipex won't close my account!

I changed phone/Bband from Pipex (Tiscali, Talk Talk or whatever they are now) to Sky in November. I didn't have a contract, that ran out years ago... just month to month!

When I requested my MAC I asked if I needed to actively cancel my account & was told No, it will be done automatically upon transfer.

This wasn't done & despite 5 phone calls, 3 emails & 2 letters it still hasn't! I've just received a bill for Feb??

How do I get them to listen?

I will be cancelling my DD tomorrow but how do I claim the money I shouldn't have paid back?
