Hi we have an Epson DX 5050 printer.
Please can someone tell me why i am still getting vertical lines on my prints and how i can clear them.
The lines are like different colours but in several bands across the print. I have done about 10 nozzle cleans, the printer does not get used that often so I am thinking that the ink may have dried on the heads?? Thank you

Hi
Do a nozzle check and see if all of the nozzles are firing, if not see if you can clean until it comes back to normal.
But it does sound as if the head is blocked if you have already run 10 cleaning cycles, so if its under warranty give Epson a call, if not under warranty then it would probably cost more for it to be repaired than a new printer would be.

Not worth it, you will find all sorts of tips on cleaning the head on the web but none of them work, the head will need to be replaced and thats usually not worth doing on these small printers.
