Cuba Excursions

We've booked our honeymoon in Cuba (Guardalavaca resort) in November with Thomson in November but I can't seem to find any details of excursions on their website?
Does anyone know what excursions are usually offered please? I think I heard once that they do swim with dolphins in Cuba?
Any advice gratefully received! Thanking in advance.

The tripadvisor forum for Cuba is very good. They have a link with info on excursions, though the Thomson website has the info somewhere as I was looking at it recently. If you have any other questions the tripadvisor forum is really useful. We are going to the Guardalvaca area in May and have been advised we can email our hotel a couple of weeks before we go for room requests.0

Thanks Janie. I'd looked at that website before but putting in my holidays date didn't bring anything up. I left it blank this time and it brought up 12. Thank you also for the Trip Advisor tip!0

You can go swimming with dolphines alone or combine it with a range of trips.
You can:
Speedboat in a two manned boat through the mango swams (and ope ocean if weather is calm enough) . This is a great trip as you and your partner has full control of the boat and just follow a jetski.
Horseride - Dont book this in any of the hotels. Book it with the horse and cart men as they will take you out for much longer for a much cheaper price.
Horse and cart tours - These are good to waste a few hours taking you round the local area.
Taxi - You can keep a taxi all day and have the driver as a personal guide. Dont be affraid to haggle and never accept their first price.
Jeep tour - Never done this myself but belive you sit in a jeep and you go off road (dont think you get to drive though)
Boat,Snorkling and Dolphines - You go out on a boat trip (all drinks included) till you reac the snorkiling area where you spend a bit of time in the water. You then get to go to the dolphine arena were you swim with them. Lunch then back on the boat and home.
Havana - They do two trips im sure . A day or a day and night that we did. Very expensive but we couldnt miss out on such an amazing place. If you get a good guide this will be the highlight of the trip.
Santiago - An overnight bus takes you her for a day tour. Either go here or havana as both are pretty much the same place just santiago is smaller and a cheaper tour.
Holguin- You can do many a tour here. Day or night tours that visit variose places.
Mini train - A small train tour that stops off in different places . We never did this as the taxis are cheaper and you can come and go when you please.
Steam train - Im sure you could go on a day trip on a steam train although never meet anyone who did it. Sure you go to a rum and cigar factory with lunch included.
The place itself is tiny but if you go looking for things to do you wount be bored for a second. I would go back tommorow.
Also try the seafood restaurant at the end of the beach on the rock outcrop. My girlfriend and I sat there on our last night all alone as the sun went down with the who place to ourselfs (can only imagin its due to the fact its not part of the resort)
Hope this gies you a brief taster of a wonderful time im sure your going to have.0
