Aa insurance

After waiting 3 months for payment on a pet insurance claim and being fobbed off on numerous occasions yesterday they tell me that the underwriters they use 'amtrust' are having probs - so don't know if i will ever see my money - 2 months ago they doubled the premium and the excess and are still taking my money - as my pet has a pre condition i am stuck and can't go anywhere else = any news on this?

I am not an expert on Pet insurance but i reckon you probably could go elsewhere for cover but would not be able to claim for anything to do with the pre-existing medical condition either now or in the future.

Would be nice to see an 0800 number on these customer service lines, not an 0870.
