Estmating weight?

I didn't know where on earth to put this question so apologies if it's wrong. Anyway, does anyone know any way to estimate the weight of a desk for sending abroad. It's an Oak writing desk about 35" high 17" deep and 30" in width. I am hopeless at this sort of thing, so even a rough guess would help. Thanks

Hi,
can you get it balanced on bathroom scales?0 -
For this, I would get one end balanced on the scales, standing 2 legs on a piece of wood across the scales and repeat with the other end and add the 2 readings[Deleted User] wrote:Hi,

Depending upon your weight & how high your scales go I would stand on then stand on holding the table & take one from the other0

Thanks but to be honest I had thought of this but this is an oak desk and unlikely that bathroom scales will go up to that weight!0
