Motor Claims legal protection

I was wondering whether there are any good third party deals available on Motor Claims Legal Protection, which motor insurance companies invariably try to tack on to your policy at a cost of about £25pa.
Or am I tied to my insurer's deal? It offers up to 50,000 for no fault claims, but nothing for fault claims, and I understand this isn't a great offer.
TIA

You would never need LE cover for fault claims.... the policy basically covers the cost of suing someone for your out of pocket losses (eg excess, hire car, loss of earnings, injury etc). If you are at fault for the accident the only person you could sue is yourself.
The only stand alone LE product I have seen recently was for £95 a yearAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
