Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problems :( Well at least i learn something on the way :D

But with the transaction, does it not show the location/brand of the cash machine on her statement?

According to her the ministatement only shows the date and not time. She will check out the time of withdrawal on monday.

OP, when you said it was unbranded, was it a machine which charges? The only reason I ask is because they may process the transaction as a Point of Sale rather than an ATM transaction as such.

She said it was one of the machine that does not charge you for using it.

Does she know that LLoyds current account customers can withdraw cash at their local Post Office or sub Post Office counter, for free. This would avoid these types of problems that occur at ATMs. Its really very useful!

I have never used these unbranded machines before so do not know how it works with regards to taking money out of your account etc etc.

She has been to the bank and has had her hand slapped :o She has used this machine before and should know how it works. This is what she was told...

She had withdrawn £200 on Saturday, £200 on Sunday and then £200 on Monday. When she got her ministatement on the following Saturday it showed three £200 transaction on Monday. Due to being tired from work etc etc she not only has forgotten the withdrawal she made over the weekend she also forgot that the company who runs the cashpoint machine deducts the money from her account on the next working day which was on Monday hence three £200 transaction. She was happy to hear this :D

She normally takes precautions using these machines.

    Thanks for the replies

Blimey, some people really shouldn't be let loose with a card :rotfl:
Glad to hear it's all sorted out anyway.

1.How come she did not check the ATM slips against the bank statement, even if she did not remember with drawing the money?

    2. She must be loaded not to remember taking out £600 in 3 days or very, very drunk!
