  • I'm selling an empty house and I've insured it with Zurich. It was no problem at all, the only condition they insisted on was that it be inspected once a week.

    Thanks
do you have a contact number for the insurer.
  • I did it through a broker - Woodstock Insurance, West Malling, Kent - 01732 223440

Zurich are on 0870 3331962, but I don't know if they deal direct or if you need to go through a broker.
  • Hi,

I was recently in a similar situation, wanting to insure an un-occupied house for around 6 months. I found Neil Cook at Delite Insurance (http://www.deliteinsurance.co.uk/) exceedingly helpful and accomodating.

He took time to talk through my needs and explained everything clearly and was also always available on the phone and via email to talk to.

I have not taken out a policy as yet but will be doing so in the near future. Price good too, only £35 more than my bog standard policy for one customised to my needs.

(and no I dont work for them..... :-))

    Regards
    Postie.
