Mixing varnish with hardener?

I'm hoping there may be a carpenter or someone in the know to give us some advice!
My hubby has got a job varnishing a bar. He is using Sadolin PV67 heavy dutyvarnish, which comes in two packs, teh varnish and a hardener. It says to mix it 10 parts to 1 - but how do we measure it?
I know it sounds silly, but we're really not sure how to do it!!
Has anyone used it before or something similar?
Thank you!

could use a plastic kitchen measuring jug, that has fluid ounces scale on the side.
for example.
10 fluid ounces of varnish, and one fluid ounce of hardener.0
