It's a public forum, people post to get others opinions :rotfl:
You sound like you've got a clentched colon or something, relax.
...it's slowly unclenching - been a bad morning!
It's just so annoying that people rush in with opinions on things that weren't even asked for and in the meantime the original question gets lost amongst wasted posts - just like this one in fact!PMA - Positive Mental Attitude

I have just experienced the same with B & Q. I have a few outgoings but not huge and a small mortgage but have been refused the two years interest free on £3k. My credit rating is good. I am thinking that this offer is too good to be true and it is B & Q's way of getting out of this offer.0

i guess because i was given 12k before for the car, which is almost fully repaid, i though they would lend me that amount, but times have changed!0

I got a B&Q Kitchen in 2005 (but got the cooker etc elsewhere), £3,500 including fitting. I could probably have done it cheaper but it was my first time buying something like this, in hindsight I could have cut it down further. My fitter charged me £120 a day and he was here about six days, doing other stuff around the house too, not just the kitchen. B&Q's quote for fitting would probably have doubled the overall price.Debt at 1/1/11 £7,049.75, now £6,682.12 at 9/3/110

Kitchen from freecycle - couple of years old, very little wear and tear, worktops included and sink, cost us van hire and some new drawer runners....

The posters here aren't even being harsh enough IMO. Why would you take out a massive loan to make a section of your house look a bit shinier?
I can 'sort of' understand car loans, if you need it to get to work and can't stand buying a cheap car.
Save for the kitchen, pocket the 10% difference between 7% loan rates and 3% savings, sorted. £600 up.Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”
