I am okay thanks Kit, I've not been into diaryland in ages, just been on the main board. Things are okay with me, not brilliant but not worth complaining about compared to others situations.

That sounds like a fab weekend you have planned, hope you have fun. Are you supposed to be marking? you are always like this with marking, maybe you could pay someone else to do it for you (obviously not very money-saving!).

Yep, we all do at times I think. For me its mostly a kindof vague can't be bothered with it all fed up rather than anything specific.
Luckily I think the cure for you might be a weekend away with friends? I'm sure you'll feel better after that. :j

Or if you still feel like this when you come back and are back at work then maybe you could start planning a whole new direction with life? a new job? a relocation to a new part of the country? or a new country altogether? what is the one thing you dream about doing with your life (even if you don't think you could).

Yep, yesterday was a point in fact, I am fed up of the fact that I am stuck on crutches, I am fed up of the fact that I am in pain all the time which stops me sleeping, I am fed up with being over twice the weight I should be :mad: and I am fed up of the fact that I can't even make a good home for Dr Dragon, he has to do the vacuuming, carrying bags, shopping etc - last night I burst into tears (again ) and was sobbing that he would be better off without me

oh poop. dont you be down. you are a nice person. Life just sucks. There are good times. My life is not bad. I am just not brave enough to hold on till after the summer. It should be ok by xmas. If i am made redundant i will actually be over the bloody moon and will go and do a chilling out job somewhere and have fun. I just want to jump on a plane and go somewhere far away and not come back.

Why do we feel like this?

apparently this is normal as we come out of winter months they call it SAD
now we need to make the most of the sun

It's not so bad Erika. It's not as if they are hard but i get fed up writing carp that noone ever reads. Paperwork for the sake of paperwork. What a waste of energy. How is this going to increase the GDP of the country or my students or make the world a better place? I am so boring. I think i would like to do something different. I want to rob a bank or something. Do criminals have more fun? I want to be in Pulp Fiction and dance to music and do mad stuff once in a while. Why am i so bloody constrained? What's a job that allows me to do that? i am a wacky teacher but i feel so bloody shackled. Any ideas what should i do? How does one meet a bank robber i want to apply for a YTS?
