No, you mark first. Ironing can wait. I survive from day to day and week to week without even touching the thing. But can you imagine how good you feel after the marking is done? I think that is a bull frog that.

16 Kit. I come from a very hard background, my childhood wasn't fun, and my family life was not like everyone else's. I couldn't talk to my parents the way people do, we didn't have any kind of relationship.

DH's mum has sent me a text. 70 years old and can text. My mum cannot used a mobile phone.

Anyway, "have sent easter gifts for DS, track them at https://www.royalmail.com. ok"..... with what? I need the tracking code!

Are you looking for a slap, Pet?????

As I said Aesop ...... typical Geordie bloke :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

WOW lots of thought provoking stuff on here today - Kit, what you have to ask yourself is "is my friendship with P making me happy and am I happy to be with her?" You have to think of yourself hun and your needs and happiness. Of course, sometimes being with friends is hard if they are going through something or other, but if normal time with them is stressing you and others are pointing out the problem, then it is time to cool that relationship. You are your own person - never let anyone take that away from you hun. True friends take you as you are, not take advantage of what you are ;)

SOOOOOOooooo glad you've got your DTD voucher Aesop - got the bug now I expect ;) :j :j :j :j Just be careful of price changes and check, check, check before you buy and you will really get the benefit of it, and it will help you tremendously. Makes you feel you are doing something possitive and you will be able to treat little one over the Easter - FREE Easter eggs and ice creams for instance

Marru, I hope you can find somewhere new to live hun - we always seemed to find somewhere and then put notice in, never had to find somewhere with a deadline over us before

It's a nice day here too - bit of cloud about but fairly bright and warm :D

uhoh sitting her procrastinating. I know what my list of frogs is and I don't want to do any of them!

    do DH's tax return
    do my tax return
    clean the oven
    find paperwork
    sort statements....

Manager is not talking to me LOL because I have taken another monday off... I can't help it! DS has genuinely been ill over the weekend last week and this week!

I can't risk taking him to nursery and he still has diarrhoea. Fingers crossed, so far he has been ok...

Little one has 2 easter eggs already - one from us, one from his friend and probably a 3rd from another friend. That is his lot! I think he is allergic to stuff and I might have to ask for blood tests, as he has terrible skin problems. We only have an ice box, no freezer, so staying away from ice creams. Will just buy stuff that i need to eat, not junk, because I will not lose weight. And not fair on DS.

Yesterday was good although I couldnt find beef, and bought a lamb for £7 which is way more than I would normally pay. But well stocked up with nappies now, so no outlay on those for a couple of months :)

Put the oven cleaning stuff in the oven and then you have 30 minutes to sort out your tax return.

I could stay here, just haven't sorted out the contract and now at the last minute starting to think that I would prefer to move.

This is what I wrote to matrix thread, any advise gratefully received:

"My rent agreement runs out in the middle of May. I haven't contacted the agency to ask what is going to happen. I.e. are they assuming that I stay meaning that I can stay without new contracts being put in place (and without new reference checks) and then have one month notice period or are they assuming that I go unless I sign up new contract. And obviously us being in the middle of April I am seriously running out of time with this.

I found lovely cottage that has more space and also has bath not far away, tried to call the agent but got answer phone. If that cottage is gone I don't see there being much hope that I can find something else in this time.

On the other hand moving in the middle of May is the worst time for me to move but on the other hand I can't see myself living in this place another winter. "

I ordered all my Easter Cards off funkyp!geon yesterday, just got confirmation, they have all been printed and being posted...

the best part..... each only cost me 90p for card and stamp! :j

I have saved so much money! I did a referral on DH's e-mail, got him to buy 1 card using discount code, I got £3 for referring him, so minimum spend for all his family's cards!

I love moneysaving! Just wish I could put the amount of money I have saved into a savings account. :(

Angel is in a cottage, it sounds lovely. I hope you can move as soon as your contract ends. Fingers crossed marru. I will go and mark in the garden after lunch. I thought that was the easy option as it is gorgeous out there. I will iron tonight.

Hi susan. Aesop you are blooming amazing. Ps if anyone wants a laugh look at worried jim's thread. He is sooo funny.
