Beanie - I know people have little faith in the Job Centre - buy don't they have specialist advisors to help disabled people get work?

Beanie, with the tiredness, do you think you would be able to commit to regular hours, even if just one or two hours each day? if not then you would probably be restricted to either piece work or self employment?
Piece work that's unskilled is notoriously badly paid - so if you end up going down that path I'd suggest trying to find something that utilises your skills else you might end up working for pennies - if you can bookkeep and do admin etc then maybe it would be better to be self employed?

One of my lodgers is a self employed sole trader mechanic, he's brill with cars but absolutely rubbish at doing his books, sending invoices and paying bills etc - his business is way too small to employ a full or even part time administator, but would probably have enough work each week for a couple of hours. Although he's never advertised for help, i reckon if somebody offered then he would jump at the chance.
I reckon there will be plenty of people just like him near where you live... but you might have to go out there and find them.

...and talking about lodgers... up to £80 per week tax free ... it's the easiest money I make each week!

Panorama was about the recession and job losses. Dreadful. After i finish my job i have no energy to do anything else. I tried tutoring but it was too much. At the moment i am going out with my friends and spending too much money on weekends. I will have to cut back. I am so pleased i discovered the poundshop though. Am tidying up tomorrow - it is the new 'going out'! I shall save a fortune.
