Okey Dokey - brother is about to put dinner on table well on the plates on the table :p and then we are going down to see Mam - my Sis was there lunch time and Mam was too tired to do or say much and didn't acknowledge Mother's Day, bless her she didn't even know she had cards and flowers, but we know:( at least she is resting and they are going to check her for infection and, if necessary, put her on anti-biotics as it's about 3 weeks since she had any

    Back later this evening

Boult and beanie you guys are so kind. (They keep emailing me and are making me laugh). We know the nicest people. My garden looks lovely. Daffs and greenery everywhere and how terribly MSE my clothes must be dry by now! Susan was visiting her mam at 4.30 i hope she is ok. Poor flower.

Puddings i just looked up in the Daily Mail about the EDL March. Blooming heck. It is bad up north. What happened by you ?

It was like that here about 12 years ago when Millwall played Portsmouth and my hairdresser sent me home in a taxi (she paid - how cool is that?) as I was one of very few non whites in Portsmouth at the time.

    Crumbs. Scary times.

I have just taken 23 friends from facebook. Most of them are ex-students, a few left but the one's that stay in contact and also some church people too. I feel good. Not guilty at all. It is jolly liberating.

Hi again everyone - back from seeing Mam and she is a little brighter :)

When we got there, carer was feeding her soup in a baby type mug with spout and Mam looked at us wi9th those glazed puzzled eyes ............ and then she smiled and her face changed. She drank all the soup and carer asked her if she wanted more and she nodded and smiled, so she fetched another mug and I fed her that, then she ate a toffee apple yoghurt, her cup of tea and two dunked biccies, and had her meds and nebuliser, at which time she started to fall asleep - she did wake if we made a noise or moved about, and then dozed off again, and she was laughing and smilling, though not talking at all.

Nurse said they had checked for urine infection and it was clear, but would check again tomorrow. The nurse also said how different Mam was from the morning, much brighter. My sister had said that she had to shake the bed to wake Mam to take each mouthfull of her lunch, and could not wake her to say goodbye when she left :( Tonight I waved 'tarra' and she got her hand out from under the sheet and started waving back, which my brother said she hadn't done for a while, and she was still waving to us as we went down the corridor. Hopefully though, with no distractions, she would fall aasleep properly and get a proper rest. We will just have to wait until tomorrow to see how she is, but feeling better about her tonight, than I was yesterday :D:D

Oh Susan I am glad she waved and smiled but so sad for you! I just rang Andy and Steve and they send their love. They said you giggled on the phone during the afternoon chat - so pleased i was worried.

I hope Alan is ok. Have you had supper? I must go down and make the bed in Steve and Andy's room for Saturday when they visit.

Yes Kit, can't help but have a giggle talking to Steve and Andy :p:p Feeling OK - it will not really sink in about my mobile until I have heard one way or the other whether it has been found

Just had some cheese when we got back but will have my cereal, yoghurt and fruit shortly, and my hot chocolate :D
