I am once again re-thinking my job options. My Managers and colleague went for a 1 and a half hour lunch today and came back tiddly. NiCE ! :mad:

I had things I needed to ask my Manager but no point asking her when she has a drink or two at lunchtime.

I have now three lovely people who have offered to help me. I need to log off shortly as BF is here cooking tea and I ought to go and do some tidy up. Letting agency are coming tomorrow to do inspection :eek: So could you please agree who I should send the details? Thank you ever so much. Greatly appreciated. welllll 2 years ago it was REALLY bad! before I started, the 2 managers regularly went drinking at lunchtime, came back drunk and would shout at everyone and be rude. our director said they were not allowed to go to lunch together anymore as we need a manager at all times in the department. Now both managers work in different departments, they are going drinking again.

I think our Director won't say anything because she needs my manager. She is very good at her job when sober and really knows her stuff. and the other problem is a few weeks ago, she was screeching at her, and made her cry, she bullied her and my manager was ready to go to a tribunal. That all got sorted out. But think my director is watching her step.

on another note, director is picking on another member of the team, english is his second language and she picked up on the fact his emails have spelling mistakes. I noticed this morning, he had transposed a few letters and I said I would change his signature, so he wouldn't do it again. He complained to a colleague now I was picking on him!

I give up! I know he is being watched and am trying to help him keep his job. right now he needs it!

Aesop, what a nightmare. How can they be allowed to work if they are drunk? That is terrible. Ok the odd glass of wine on xmas eve maybe as the office closes but i can't imagine people being allowed to drink in an office. Gosh. Are there any jobs there i will apply if you are allowed to get sozzled. Blooming heck how do they allow it?

The only reason I can think of them getting away with it is because she needs my Manager. Without her, she won't have a business. And it is her business, her retirement fund.

I am afraid i have no sympathy for Tatco. Aesop that is blooming awful. What is the job situation like by you? are you close to central london?

I've always wanted to get shiz faced at lunch and then work in the afternoon! I'm not al alcoholic, i promise Thats bad though Aesop when they're in that position as managers to come back from a very long lunch in that state. Morons!
