    Hello everyone

Ex behaved himself today (after my stern email earlier this week), BF cooked lovely tea of mackrel and potato+carrot mash, we have now decluttered my bedroom and turned the bed so I can start doing some exercises there. So I am happy but extremely tired. Will check what is on the telly and do some stitching. I have finished these two this week:

    And am now starting this:

And SW - I think I killed my shredder. Might need to go and buy new one tomorrow :o

oh no poor Marru. Steve and Andy found me my shredder in Lidl it was £7 I think. Stay happy Marru. Well done on your stitching. I am going to try to do some college work tomorrow. I need quiet and it is almost impossible this weekend.

I had better explain to Firewalker that i am stressed as dad is here. Edited it out. Most people read it so it is ok.

Glad EX behaved at last :j cross stitch patterns are soooo cute - love the badger :j :j

It's not like when Kit 'killed' her shredder Marru, is it? It had jammed and overheated, which is a safety feature - once it has cooled down the motor may work again - then you press reverse to get the jammed bits of paper out and it should be as right as rain :D

I had better explain to Firewalker that i am stressed as dad is here. I am used to being on my own and he has such a strong personality I get a bit swamped. He is stressing about things and making me stressed. Miserable stuff we can't change and it just exhausts me. I already know what's wrong i dont need him to remind me constantly, i never have a rest from it and it makes me ill. My counsellor says I have to set up firmer parameters to protect myself so I dont get ill or depressed I ignore the phone now so he knows not to ring me 15 times a day but it is so hard when he visits. It is his way of coping. I love him, he is brilliant at everything he does I just want peace sometimes. Does this make any sense? probably not. Still they leave on Monday and hopefully next time they come i will be feeling more positive. I love them but he is driving me crackers for real.

Try get hold of book called toxic parents. The toxicity (sp?) doesn't have to mean negative things they can just as well be good meaning things. But the book had good advice in how to set your own parameters non confronting way.

Well I did let it cool down a bit and tried again but no luck. I am going to give it a whirl tomorrow before dashing out to get another one. There is no paper jammed left in as managed to pull it all out.

Kit, can you write down what your Dad is constantly telling you, and then by it, how many times he has contacted you about it?

And then show him the next time you see him? Explain how much you love him and realise how much he loves and cares for you but this is what he is doing? He has told you once, you heard him, wrote it down, and then he has contacted you xx times since about the same thing?

Would this be too offensive for your Father?
