Boult, the thing with this Tatco price thingy is that you can get premium brands for the price of value/smart price brands or for less in most cases. It isn't all about booze, though I have struggled to find healthy things as loads of the things are on processed foods which we don't eat

For intance, Moolerlight yoghurt 6 packs were £2.96 at Tatco but only £1.50 at A$da - the difference is £1.46 so they give you double back = £2.92, which means that a 6 pack of Moolers only cost you 4p ;);) Now, Tesco have put the price UP to £3.29 which is an even bigger difference, but have a 2 for £5.50 offer running. Funny how they always put the price up when they put these BOGOF or multibuys offers on, isn't it?  Andy way, that would still be a DTD as £5.50 for 2 at Tatco, but £3 at A$da - however, if you only buy one pack at £3.29, the difference from £1.50 is £1.79, doubled to £3.58 so they pay you 29p to take them away :j

You can have Pepsi Max 2 litre instead of cheaper colas, as Tatco sell at £1.79 and A$da at £1, so difference 79p, DTD is £1.58, so 2 litres of premium cola for 21p :j

There is more to this than you think - but you have to put some research into it as prices are changing faster now, but still well worth the effort in my opinion ;);)

Anyway, I called at Tatco while my friend was at the hairdressers and they were busy putting beef and a little lamb out into the reduced section, vastly reduced e.g. £6 slow roast sirlion beef joint for £1.25 from £6, so I got 9 packs of rump steak, casserolle beef, slow roast joint, lamb steaks, minced beef for the grand total of £11.50 :j :j :j :j

Well done Susan. It is great when you find bargains. I must start looking around there are so many ways to make savings but you have to have time available too to visit the places, I spend all my spare time on this site:eek: I wish i could drive but i probably save a fortune as i dont have to buy petrol I suppose.

    What are you doing now?
