  • We have a nature reserve/small reservoir a mile away. You can't walk it but in the car it's not a problem. He also goes with his mates on the beach but is hopeless at beach fishing. I worry a lot when he's out but have to try to keep a lid on it.

I too would be chicken sw and I love the water and can swim really well.

While I was waiting for DD I was listening radio in the car, some really good music from 80's and 90's. Can you still remember MC Hammer?

Evening Chelle - we have a river by us, only about 800 yards away - but separated from us by a very large flood bank - land where our house is, is below the level of the river at high tide   The river looks lovely at full tide, but when it is low, it looks muddy & awful - wouldn't want to fish there

People fish around here in the drains ;)

Don't worry, not those sort of drains :rotfl: :rotfl: the canal type of waterways they cut to 'drain' the fens :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Howdy Aesop. How are you?

I am knackered! Both boys in bed, would love to go to bed too, but need to do my dailies and a few bits before I go to sleep.

But am aiming for 10pm not 1am!
