Hope the trip to the osteopath helps Beanie and well done on the win :j :j try to treat your self with it you deserve it hun :A

Yes, Dragon I agree that tax is still going up on alcohol and ciggies, just that they did not add to the rise that Labour already put through :(

Boult - I envy your ability with flatpacks - Mr 3Dogs can do them but does get annoyed with them sometimes   Luckily we prefer older furniture which is solid and needs no putting together. Mind you, he does have those fitted wardrobes to put up in the bedroom still - hope he does that when I am away ;);)

I HAVE BEEN FOR MY BLOODS :A Mind you, she had the normal trouble as I do not let them take any blood from me without a fight  The first vein hid as soon as she got the needle in my arm so she took ages to find another one, which was tiny she said and really hurt when the needle went in, but she managed to fill the 3 phials that were needed though I was very giddy when coming out of the room and bumped into the wall :o

Just off to my friends now with her shopping and money from bank, so be back in about an hour or two after my free cuppa :D

Ah so it is! I better bulk buy alcohol over the weekend before it costs me more on Monday ;)

They should make smokers pay £10 a packet. That would sort it out wouldn't it!!

Well done on your win Beanie!! I found a pound on the floor at sainsburys last night, so i thought that would pay for a lottery ticket.

I'm like that 3dogs! I gave blood when i was going for my aneasthetic and she tried to take it out from my wrist and it wouldn't come, the bloke was squeazing my arm to try and get it out but it wouldn't work, so they did it on the other arm. My bruises lasted 3 weeks from that!! I looked awful. Still blood is very important and they got your vein in the end! When do you get the results??

Yuk to blood tests! Evening all looks like you have all had a busy and good day. I had a long day today and another long one tomorrow. And plenty to do over the weekend. Still it is good to be home. Am having oven roast potatoes and chilli. Legs do hurt now and when i climbed steps too, it must mean i actually did something last night!

Sometime when I go they can get it straight away, most times though it's a right hunt for the right vein - have had it taken from back of my hand a couple of times  This test was regarding the palpitations thing - doc said they would ring if anything untoward is found, otherwise just waiting on the list for the next 24 hour cardio monitor to become available :D

    Well done Beanie!

3Dogs, I have trouble giving blood. It was suggested to me that I did the hoovering very vigorously before I went to give blood!

    Why?

I have one bad arm (they can't make it bleed) so i use my left arm . This is a bizarre conversation. Kind of Trainspotting it is making me laugh!
