Yea, debenhamsboss didn't send me flowers or a card or any present what so ever. Shame on them eh!!!!
I have well over done it today. A little jaunt to whitstable...parked in a car park that was milles away from the nearest cafe and it took me forever to walk there and back! Crossing the road is the biggest embarassment i have ever faced in my life.
So now im sitting here, hip is killing and im waiting to eat to take some of those really nasty pain killers
Hope you get your work marked SW! Just randomly tick it, they wont notice!!0 -
Ooooh Well done Vix, good on you. I only have 14 left. Back aches. But nearly there. Have had American Idol on in background. Utter tat but it is helping me to mark. I am reading it but it is so hard to focus, most of them have produced fab work. There are 4 pants ones i am leaving till the end.
Nearly there. Cant wait to chat to you all later.
Gosh your real boss should have sent you something. And Debenhamsboss nice he cares. Glad he pops up now and again. I wanted to ask him why my local D+benhams has stopped stocking Dorma bedclothes. It sucks dude! Off i go.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Dorma was taken over by dunelm mill...and now we've got rid of them i think!
Not many more to go then! You'll have a nice sense of achievement when youre done!0 -
Mmmmnnn - just finished eating dinner and it was yummy - L!dl Pork Loin steaks, with s/world roasted potatoes & parsnips, with carrots and leeks - we rarely have gravy I am not a fan anyway but have a dash of worcestershire sauce over veg
It is wonderful knowing there's plenty of meat in the freezer ready for meals with getting all the L!dl weekend offers and the likes of the pork chops/loin steaks don't need defrosting before grilling - I just grill them low to start with then turn up the heat
You have definitely over done it Vix - how long did they tell you to stay off your feet
Only 14 Kit? that's great - pity about the dud ones at the end though :cool:Mr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Oh and I have hit my target of 15 NSD's today - by accident. I had put the money aside for Mr 3Dogs to get my fruit at the car boot so that was OK, and was going to A$da to get a few bits for me and 2 things I couldn't get at Tatco for my friend on Friday. However, just before I got there the traffic was going ever so slowly and I saw a saluki dog trotting round the roundabout in the middle of the road and then off along the road I was taking to Asda - the traffic was going very slowly lickily, because the poor dog was wondering from one side to the other slightly and was terrified. I managed to get just ahead of her and pulled up and shouted of the dog in case it was used to jumping into a car but it veered away and then continued trotting along in the middle of the road
A girl came up to help and she jumped in my van and we set off after the dog which we had noted had at least gone off along a side-road - we followed it along the road and managed to geet ahead of it again, the girl jumped out and I got a little further on and turned to block the dog. The car behind had done the same and for a moment the dog and the girl were within feet of each other between the two cars ......... then the dog raced forward and squeezed passed me  We followed it to a sharp bend in the road and the dog went through a barrier and up onto the river bank - we couldn't follow it any further and realised it would just keep running away from us so had to reluctantly give upI took the girl back to where I had picked her up, where her grandfather was waiting in his car, and turned into A$da, parked the car, grabbed a small trolley and headed for the door to be met by a shop assistant who told me that the shop was now closed - I have lost track of the time and it was now 4 pm   and I had to just head home again, doubly disappointed
The poor dog (the shape of a greyhound but even lighter built, like a very thin fine-coated afghan) looked in poor condition and didn't have a collar on. I do hope she is OK, though I did report it to the dog warden when I got home (I for once, didn't have my mobile with me as I had rushed out)
OK, although it's late, I must just pop along to my friend's house to she if she is OK and have a cuppa with her - she will be worried with it getting lateMr 3Dogs 3-7-12
